How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Perla marble, honed

Calacatta Perla is a white marble with gray green and soft gold veining. The honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 79x118 in, shown in its block photo. Its tone is softer than a classic Calacatta. Stock is on request and priced by quote.

Design

Gray green veins on a pearly Perla ground

The white has a pearl like softness. Veins wander across it in gray green and pale gold, thin in places and spreading into light clouds in others, never forming hard lines. It feels gentle. In a room with warm wood or unlacquered brass, the gold notes in the veins pick up the color of the fittings. Laid as a full bathroom wall, the soft clouds read almost like watercolor, and the green tint ties in with plants or pale green tile.

Honed Perla at 79x118 in

This marble is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial spaces, in kitchens and bathrooms. A bathroom vanity and the wall behind it can come from the one slab. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or by crated LTL freight beyond.
