How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Emanuelle quartzite, 3/4 in

This 3/4 inch Emanuelle quartzite slab comes from a different block than the thicker one. It shows the same mix of green, gray and rust with dark fracture lines, at 79x128 in. Stock is on request and pricing is by quote.

Design

Green gray Emanuelle from a second block

Expect the family look rather than an exact match. The palette is the same, cool green and silver gray with warm rust, but the zones fall differently and the black lines take their own paths. Quartzite often has a slight glassy depth, and it shows here in the paler patches. A thinner slab like this one suits walls and vanities well. On a wall the green and gray zones read like a landscape painting, best seen from a few steps back.

This quartzite is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial spaces, in a kitchen or a bathroom. A large wall slab or a long vanity top suits the 3/4 inch thickness. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we ship to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
