How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Martion marble in plum brown and gold

Martion is a brown marble with a plum cast and gold veining. The slab is 3/4 inch thick and 77x122 in, pictured in its block photo. It is one of the few brown marbles in the collection. Stock is on request, and pricing is by quote.

Design

Gold veins across Martion plum brown

The ground sits between chocolate and dark plum. Gold and caramel veins run through it in loose, feathery strokes, gathering in places into brighter bands. It looks warm. Brown stone has been out of fashion for a while, and Martion is the kind of slab that shows why it is coming back: rich, deep, and easy beside walnut, brass and cream. In daylight the plum comes forward; under warm bulbs the gold veins take over and the stone looks closer to dark chocolate.
