How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Monet Delicato marble, honed

Monet Delicato is a white marble with clusters of gray and soft violet veining. This honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 65x134 in. It is a lighter, quieter version of the Monet stones in this collection. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Gray violet clusters in a long Delicato slab

The veins gather into small clusters, like ink dropped on wet paper, then trail off in thin lines. Most are gray; a few lean toward lavender. Between them the white stays open. Honing keeps it soft. The slab is long and fairly narrow, which suits a galley counter or a run of wall cladding. From a distance it reads as a soft white with gray shadows, which keeps a small bathroom or kitchen feeling light and open.

Where to use it

Honed Delicato at 65x134 in

This marble is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in a kitchen or a bathroom. Its proportions fit a long counter along one wall. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
