How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Monet Green marble, honed

Monet Green is a green marble with darker forest patches and fine white veins. The honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 81x122 in. Its green is deep and slightly gray. Stock is on request and priced by quote.

Design

Forest and moss green on a wide honed slab

Two greens share the slab, a moss tone and a darker forest tone, blended in large overlapping shapes. Fine white veins cut through on the diagonal. Honed, the color goes soft and earthy, closer to lichen than to emerald. It works with cream, brass and natural oak, and it brings real color to a kitchen without feeling loud. In morning light the moss tone leads, and in the evening the darker forest green takes over. A green counter like this also hides crumbs and water marks better than a white one, which is worth a thought in a family kitchen.

It is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in kitchens and bathrooms. At 81 inches wide it covers a deep island in one piece. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and slabs go to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
