How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

This Monet is a white marble with fine, soft gray veining. The honed slabs are 1 1/4 inch thick and 79x130 in, from two bundles of one block. It is a calm white for a large kitchen. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Soft gray lines in thick white Monet

The gray is light and the lines are thin. They drift across the white in a loose diagonal, joining in places into faint clouds. There is little contrast. On a big island it reads as white with texture, which is exactly what many people want from marble. Two bundles from the same block keep the look steady across several slabs. Seen from the side, the thick edge shows the same soft gray lines, so a square profile looks clean and solid.

This marble is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in kitchens and bathrooms. Large slabs and two bundles suit an island plus perimeter counters. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond. The thickness also means no laminated edge is needed on an island overhang.
