How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Onice Green is a pale green onyx with cream bands and rust colored seams. Two blocks are listed, with slabs 3/4 inch thick at 73x110 in and 81x122 in. Onyx lets light through in thin sections. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Pale green Onice with rust seams

The stone has soft, rounded bands of mint green, cream and white, layered like the inside of a shell. Thin rust and amber seams run through the lighter areas. Onyx has a glassy depth that marble does not, and backlighting a thin panel makes the bands glow. The two blocks differ in how much rust shows, so compare their photos.

It is rated for residential countertops and interior walls in homes and commercial interiors, in kitchens and bathrooms. A backlit bar front or a bathroom feature wall shows onyx at its best. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we ship to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
