How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Onice Mango onyx in orange and honey

Onice Mango is an orange and honey colored onyx with cream swirls. The slab is 3/4 inch thick and 79x120 in. Onyx is translucent in thin sections, so this stone glows when lit from behind. Stock is on request, and the price is by quote.

Design

Mango orange with cream swirls

Warm orange covers most of the slab, broken by cream and white rings that look like the grain of a polished seed. Some areas run deeper amber; others thin out to pale honey. Lit from behind, the whole slab glows like a lamp. Even without light it is the warmest stone in this collection. Without backlighting the orange looks like polished amber, warm and deep, and the cream rings stand out more clearly.

Where to use it

Onice Mango at 79x120 in

This onyx is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in a kitchen or a bathroom. A backlit bar, a reception wall or a powder room panel uses its color well. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and slabs go to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond. Its color works best on one surface with plain stone or plaster around it.
