How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Design

Soft cream waves in 3/4 inch Taj Mahal

The color is a quiet cream with a little gold. Tan veins drift across it in gentle waves, close together in some bands and fading out in others. It looks calm and warm. Many people choose Taj Mahal because it gives a marble like softness with the hardness of quartzite, and it sits easily next to white, cream or wood cabinets. Under daylight the cream looks fresh; under warm bulbs it shifts toward soft gold, which makes it easy to light in the evening.

It is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in kitchens and bathrooms. A thinner slab like this one is a good fit for walls, backsplashes and vanities. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we deliver to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
