How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Travertino Titanium, honed, in brown bands

Travertino Titanium is a brown travertine with straight bands of chocolate, taupe and silver. This honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 69x130 in. The color is darker than most travertines. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Chocolate and silver bands in honed Titanium

The slab is cut along its layers, so the bands run straight from end to end. Chocolate brown dominates, with lighter taupe lines and a faint silvery sheen between them. Honed, it looks soft and slightly dusty, like weathered wood. It works well with black metal, cream plaster and pale oak. In daylight the silver lines catch a little light; in the evening the brown deepens and the bands become easier to read. On a long wall the straight lines give a calm, ordered look that suits modern rooms.

Where to use it

Honed Titanium at 69x130 in

It is rated for residential countertops and for residential and commercial interior walls, in kitchens and bathrooms. A long wall or a kitchen counter shows the bands best. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and slabs go to that shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
