How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Verde Karzai marble in forest green and gold

Verde Karzai is a dark green marble with gold and ochre veins. The slab is 3/4 inch thick and 73x116 in. Its green is deep, close to forest. Stock is on request, and pricing is by quote.

Design

Gold veins over Karzai forest green

A dark green ground carries a net of gold, ochre and pale green veins, some thin and some wider, crossing at sharp angles. In a few places the green lightens toward olive. Warm light picks up the gold. It suits a library, a bar or a bathroom with brass fittings, where a deep green adds weight without black. In daylight the green looks cool and deep; warm bulbs lift the gold so the veins seem to glow a little against the dark ground. Beside cream walls and walnut it reads rich and settled.

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs it, and we ship to the shop by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond.
