How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Zecevo limestone, honed, in pale cream

Zecevo is a pale cream limestone with thin gray lines that branch like river maps. This honed slab is 3/4 inch thick and 63x100 in. It is the softest, plainest stone in this collection. Stock is on request, priced by quote.

Design

Gray river lines on Zecevo cream

The ground is an even, warm cream with almost no shading. Fine gray lines wander across it, splitting and joining like streams drawn on a map. It is quiet. Honed limestone has a soft, chalky surface that suits calm interiors, plaster walls and pale wood, and it looks at home in both modern and old houses. Because the color is so even, the slab looks the same from close up and from across the room, which makes seams easy to hide. Pale wood, linen and white plaster sit easily next to it.
