Product Description
Taj Opus Emperial Grey 2x2 matte porcelain mosaic renders a gray marble look as a close-set field of small squares. Its restrained surface softens reflections while retaining the fine shimmer and mineral movement associated with Taj Mahal stone. Each mosaic piece is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
The 2x2 pattern adds a tight grid and frequent joints, giving the shifting gray design a more detailed scale in bathrooms and kitchens. V3 shade variation brings noticeable changes across individual pieces, so the sheet develops depth rather than a single flat tone. It is rated for backsplashes, shower walls and floors, residential interior walls, and bathroom floors and walls.
Water absorption remains at or below 0.5%, making the material impervious porcelain that absorbs almost no moisture internally. Its breaking strength is no less than 425 pounds, exceeding the ANSI floor-tile baseline of 250 pounds. The wet DCOF rating of at least 0.42 meets the ANSI A326.3 value for level indoor floors subject to water. The mosaic also has Class E chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Sheets are sold individually and cover 0.97 square foot each. A box holds 10 sheets and has a total weight of 38 pounds. Coordinating Emperial Grey pieces include 12x24, 24x24, and 24x48 tile, plus a 4 inch hexagon mosaic.
