Product Description
Taj Opus Emperial Grey is a 24x24 polished porcelain tile shaped around a gray marble look. Its square field presents Taj Mahal stone character through softly shifting markings and a restrained shimmer. The polished face catches surrounding light, drawing attention to the layered gray coloration without changing the stone-inspired character.
At 24 inches square, the format creates broad, balanced sections across a wall or light-duty residential floor. Rectified edges sharpen the geometry, and the body measures 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick. V3 shade variation brings clearly visible changes in tone and pattern between tiles. Approved applications encompass residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, and residential light floors. The ID classification under ANSI A326.3 refers to level indoor floors maintained in dry conditions.
This impervious porcelain has water absorption no greater than 0.5%, meaning very little water enters the body and internal staining is avoided. A minimum breaking strength of 425 pounds stands well above the 250-pound ANSI requirement for floor tile. Its wet DCOF of 0.42 or greater reaches the ANSI A326.3 level-floor threshold for wet conditions. It also carries Class E chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal-shock resistance.
Four tiles fill a 15.46-square-foot box weighing 67 pounds, and the product is sold by the box with its price displayed per square foot. The Emperial Grey line extends to 12x24 tile, 24x48 tile, and 2x2 mosaic. Palace White polished offers another 24x24 selection.
