Product Description
Taj Opus Emperial Grey 24x48 matte porcelain tile carries a gray marble look over an elongated field. Its Taj Mahal-inspired pattern combines layered stone movement with a restrained shimmer, and the matte finish limits hard reflections. Rectified edges outline each large tile, which measures 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, in thickness.
Across the 24x48 format, the pattern has space to develop in long passages, giving walls and floors a strong horizontal or vertical direction. The V3 rating indicates noticeable shade and graphic variation among pieces. Approved areas include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light-duty residential floors in living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. The ANSI A326.3 ID category applies to level indoor floors that stay dry.
Because absorption does not exceed 0.5%, this impervious porcelain takes up almost no water through its body. The tile has a breaking strength of at least 425 pounds, compared with the ANSI minimum of 250 pounds for floor tile. A wet DCOF of 0.42 or greater reaches the ANSI A326.3 standard for level interior floors exposed to moisture. It further carries Class E chemical resistance, along with frost and thermal shock resistance.
